Position: Filmmaking Intern and Personal Assistant
Location: Altamonte Springs, FL (Serving the Greater Orlando Area)
Pay: $16 per hour (On-call position)

Responsibilities:
As a Filmmaking Intern and Personal Assistant, you'll be an integral part of my team, contributing to various aspects of the filmmaking process. Your responsibilities include:

• Film Project Support: You will assist with the load-ins and load-outs for various film projects, encompassing camera gear, audio equipment, lighting, and more. This hands-on experience will give you insights into the meticulous preparation that goes into each project.
• Equipment Management: You will assist in cleaning, maintaining, and organizing essential equipment for diverse projects.
• Editing and Post-Production: You will serve as an assistant editor contributing to the post-production phase. Prove yourself, and you'll have the opportunity to take on your own edits with a temporary raise.
• Crafting Stories: You'll play a crucial role in creating content for my social media platforms, capturing behind-the-scenes moments on-set, and learning about different aspects of filmmaking while creating content.
• Secretarial Duties: Completing paperwork, including invoices, work proposals, and budgeting, is part of your role. You may also be involved in assisting with various administrative tasks.

• Full Rate Opportunities: You will be added to my call list, granting you the chance to work on projects with my production company at a full rate, depending on your assigned role. Additionally, in instances where I operate as a Key Grip and require additional crew members, you will be included on my list. This presents an excellent opportunity to gain experience and increase your earnings⁵.
• Flexibility for Freelancing: This on-call position grants you the flexibility to pursue other freelance or part-time work. It ensures you can explore various aspects of the filmmaking industry and develop your career on your terms.

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you should possess:

• A strong passion for filmmaking and a drive for continuous improvement.
• Self-motivation, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Effective communication skills and professional conduct.

Preferences (Not Mandatory):

• Familiarity and comfort with power tools.
• Proficiency with MacOS.
• Familiarity with the Adobe Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Premiere, etc.).
• Prior experience in video editing.
• Familiarity with Final Cut Pro X and DaVinci Resolve.
